About Karen Spears:   
Karen Spears is the founder and CEO of Freely Give, Inc. a local non-profit organization created to inspire, encourage, and enrich the lives of women. Her platform for this is through empowerment events and collaborating with other organizations benefiting women and their families. She has also established a local chapter of Girl Trek, a national health movement that seeks to activate thoughts of women to be change makers in their lives and communities through a grass root approach of simply walking. Her passion to see women succeed is her driving force.

Karen has started a mentoring program called “Solidarity of Sisters” (SOS), this alliance is comprised of several women in the community working together to cultivate relationships with other women while offering a helping hand-up as they journey through everyday life. SOS was created to connect Her with her whole self – to serve Her faithfully, seek her continually, and share Her lovingly.

Karen hold an Associate of Arts Degree from Southwest State College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration with a Specialization in Organizational Leadership from Barry University, in which she graduated Cum Laude, and a Master’s Degree in Administration (MAA) from Barry University. Additionally she is a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society and the Kappa Gamma Pi Honor Society.

Karen is married to Deputy Roderick Spears and their blended family of seven children and five grandchildren enrich their lives to the fullest.
